Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland is likely to increase prices of its commercial vehicles across all models by April 2010 to offset rising input costs.

DuPont to double headcount

Gurgaon-headquartered DuPont India, a science-based products and services company, plans to double headcount to 3,000 employees in the next two to three years. This is in line with the company’s plans to focus on emerging markets like India in the coming years. The expansion in headcount will come across nearly 13 of its business verticals including agriculture and nutrition, construction, automotives, renewable energy, textiles and chemicals. The company has 1,500 employees in the country at present.
