Sensex flat; Tata Motors up 3%

The Sensex is now flat at 16,880, down 13 points. Among the sectoral indices, healthcare index has added 1.5% at 5,130. DLF has topped the value chart on the BSE with a turnover of Rs 86.07 crore. It is followed by Hero Honda (Rs 79.02 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 62.73 crore), HDIL (Rs 59.83 crore) and Unitech (Rs 46.37 crore). Unitech has led the volume chart on the BSE with trades of 5.74 million shares. It is followed by Cals Refineries (5.31 million), Suzlon Energy (5.25 million), Wire & Wireless (4.54 million) and Indowind Energy (3.57 million). The market breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,583 shares traded, 1,489 have advanced and 975 have declined so far on the BSE.
