IRB Infra emerges lowest bidder for Rs 800 cr NHAI project

"The company has emerged as the lowest bidder" for the highway project in Maharashtra and "has sought a grant of Rs 216 crore from NHAI," IRB Infrastructure Developers said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. According to the infrastructure developer, it had submitted its bid with NHAI for developing road on Talegaon - Amravati section of NH 6 of (National Highway). "The project is on grant basis with concession period of 22 years and its estimated cost is Rs 800 crore," it added.
