Akhil Awasthi joins Tata Capital

Awasthi has about 20-years of experience in private equity, listed equity and banking, having funded both Indian and foreign incorporated businesses across industries such as technology, life-sciences and consumer, a press release issued here said. The most recent part of his career has been as a partner with Baring Private Equity Partners (India) where he succesfully built the healthcare practice and created a portfolio of four successful investments, the release added.
